Type B Continuous Employment Support“Yakumo Symphony Symbiosis Salon”

Yakumo Symphony Coexistence Salon opened in April 2011 as a facility providing employment opportunities and productive activities for individuals with disabilities who face difficulties securing employment in general companies. It offers necessary training aimed at improving knowledge and skills, while also fostering friendships and providing a sense of belonging.
Currently, 48 individuals attend the day program, with an average of 35 participants per day. Over the past three years, five individuals have transitioned into regular employment.
Working hours are weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we may participate in community exchange bazaars on weekends. Wages are ¥200 per hour plus a work allowance, with attendance awards and perfect attendance awards available based on the number of days attended.

・Manufacturing and sales of proprietary products
    (Dried vegetables, sashiko embroidery, keychain making, etc.)
・Agriculture-Welfare Collaboration and Outdoor Programs
    (Vegetable cultivation and sales, snow removal work, etc.)
・Green Tourism Business
    (Guesthouse, cafe, agricultural experiences, etc.)

Yakumo Symphony promotes an inclusive community where everyone can live with confidence. It provides supportive activities that encourage purpose and social connection. The organization also takes part in local festivals, parades, and seasonal community events.
